Luke 8

Luke 8

Luke lists the women who traveled with and financially supported Jesus, including Mary Magdalene. Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower, explaining that the seed (God's word) falls on different types of hearts. Jesus then calms a fierce storm on the Sea of Galilee with a simple command, terrifying the disciples. He casts a legion of demons out of the Gerasene demoniac. He also heals a woman with a chronic bleeding issue and raises Jairus's daughter from the dead.
