Luke 9

Luke 9

Jesus sends out the Twelve Apostles with power and authority to preach the Kingdom of God and heal the sick. They return, and Jesus miraculously feeds five thousand men with five loaves and two fish. Jesus asks His disciples who they believe He is, and Peter declares, "The Christ of God." Jesus predicts His death and resurrection and teaches that anyone who wants to follow Him must take up their cross daily. Jesus is transfigured on a mountain before Peter, James, and John.
