Malachi 2

Malachi 2

Malachi continues to condemn the corrupt priests for failing to uphold the covenant of Levi, which demanded truth and godliness. He also attacks the people for breaking faith in their marriages, specifically condemning those who divorce their Israelite wives to marry foreign women. God warns that He hates divorce and will not accept the offerings of men who are unfaithful to their wives, stressing the importance of protecting the covenant family unit.
