Mark 10

Mark 10

Jesus engages the Pharisees on the topic of divorce, affirming God's original intent for lifelong marriage. He welcomes and blesses little children, stating the Kingdom of God belongs to those who receive it like a child. A rich young man asks Jesus how to inherit eternal life. Jesus tells him to sell everything and follow Him. The man refuses, leading Jesus to teach that salvation is impossible for man but possible with God. Jesus restores sight to blind Bartimaeus as He leaves Jericho.
