Jesus then begins preaching in Galilee, proclaiming the Kingdom of God and calling His first four disciples—Peter, Andrew, James, and John. Jesus demonstrates His authority by exorcising a demon in the synagogue and healing a leper, quickly spreading His fame across the region.
