Matthew 10

Matthew 10

Jesus calls and commissions His twelve disciples (Apostles) and grants them authority to cast out demons and heal every disease. He gives them specific instructions for their mission: preach only to the people of Israel, travel lightly, and expect persecution. Jesus warns that following Him will bring division, even within families, but assures them that anyone who receives the disciples receives Him. He concludes by promising a reward for those who endure and serve faithfully.
