Matthew 12

Matthew 12

Jesus challenges the Pharisees' strict rules regarding the Sabbath. His disciples pick grain on the Sabbath, and Jesus heals a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath, declaring that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. The Pharisees accuse Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Satan, prompting Jesus to warn against the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Jesus then asserts that His mother and brothers are those who do the will of His heavenly Father.
