Matthew 9

Matthew 9

Jesus returns to Capernaum and demonstrates His authority to forgive sins by healing a paralyzed man. He then calls Matthew (a tax collector) to follow Him, sparking controversy with the Pharisees, who question why Jesus eats with sinners. Jesus answers that the sick need a doctor, not the healthy. He then raises a young girl from the dead, heals a woman with a chronic bleeding issue, and restores sight to two blind men, showing compassion on the harassed crowds.
