Micah 4

Micah 4

The prophecy shifts from destruction to a glorious vision of future restoration. Micah foretells a time when the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest and most important of all mountains. Nations will stream to Jerusalem to learn God's law. God will settle disputes among all people, leading to universal peace: people will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Though they must first endure exile in Babylon, God will restore them to power.
