Micah 6

Micah 6

God brings a lawsuit against Israel, calling the mountains and hills to witness the case. God reminds Israel of His goodness—how He delivered them from Egypt and protected them. Israel asks what sacrifice God requires, thinking only of religious acts. Micah answers that God does not want thousands of rams; He wants simple, genuine obedience: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Because they have failed this test, judgment is unavoidable.
