Nehemiah 4

Nehemiah 4

The work on the wall progresses quickly, which provokes the fierce anger of the enemies, Sanballat and Tobiah. They conspire to attack Jerusalem and stop the building. Nehemiah prays and sets a strategic defense: he divides the workers so they build with one hand and hold a weapon with the other. The workers, armed with swords, spears, and bows, stand ready to defend the city, proving that the strength of the nation comes from relying on God while actively preparing for opposition.
