Numbers 34

Numbers 34

God provides precise geographic boundaries for the Promised Land of Canaan, which is to be divided among the remaining nine and a half tribes (excluding Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh). This confirms the legal extent of the territory God is giving them. Moses is also instructed to appoint twelve key tribal leaders, one from each tribe, who will be responsible for overseeing the division and distribution of the land according to the census numbers.
