Numbers 6

Numbers 6

The law of the Nazarite vow is introduced, a voluntary pledge by men or women to dedicate themselves to God for a specific period. This vow requires three strict conditions: abstaining from all products of the grape (wine, grapes, raisins), avoiding cutting the hair, and strictly avoiding contact with any dead body. At the conclusion of the dedicated period, the Nazarite must offer sacrifices and shave their hair, symbolizing the completion and purification of their special time of consecration to the Lord.
