Numbers 8

Numbers 8

God instructs Aaron on the lighting of the seven lamps of the golden lampstand (Menorah) in the Tabernacle, ensuring the light shines forward toward the front of the tent. The chapter then details the consecration ceremony for the Levites. They are required to shave their bodies and wash their clothes to purify themselves. The people lay their hands on the Levites, dedicating them to God's service, and the Levites are waved before the Lord as a special offering from the Israelites.
