Numbers 9

Numbers 9

Two specific events occur at Mount Sinai. First, God commands the Israelites to observe the Passover festival exactly one year after the original exodus from Egypt, marking the continuation of their covenant duties. Secondly, a law is established for those who are ritually unclean or far away during the Passover: they are permitted to observe a Second Passover one month later, ensuring that no devoted person is excluded from this critical remembrance of God’s deliverance.
