Proverbs 12

A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a wicked man receives condemnation. The central focus is on truthfulness: a lying tongue lasts only a moment, but a truthful lip endures forever. The righteous are concerned for the welfare of their animals, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
