Proverbs 15

Proverbs 15

This chapter focuses primarily on the power of speech and its effect on relationships and God's view. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, observing the evil and the good. A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but the heart is crushed by sorrow. The chapter emphasizes that better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure with trouble. It warns that whoever hates correction is foolish, and the fear of the Lord teaches wisdom.
