Proverbs 22

Proverbs 22

This chapter offers practical advice on reputation, wealth, and parenting. A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold. The rich and the poor meet together; the Lord is the maker of them all. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Do not associate with a man given to anger, lest you learn his ways. Remove the boundaries set by the ancients, and do not oppress the poor.
