Proverbs 5

Proverbs 5

This chapter provides a dire warning against the destructive nature of adultery and the seductive woman. It warns that her words may seem smooth, but her end is bitterness and death. The reader is warned to stay far away from her house, lest they lose their honor, strength, and years of labor to a cruel person. Instead, the chapter encourages the man to rejoice in his own wife, treating her as a cherished spring, and to be absorbed in her love, ensuring faithfulness and avoiding God's severe judgment.
