Psalms 100

Psalms 100

A short, beloved hymn of joyful thanksgiving commanding all the earth to worship. The people are commanded to make a joyful shout to the Lord, serve the Lord with gladness, and come before His presence with singing. The Psalm gives the foundational reason for worship: "Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture." The people are commanded to enter His gates with thanksgiving, for the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
