Psalms 128

Psalms 128

A short, powerful song of blessing on the man who fears the Lord. The Psalmist declares that the man who fears the Lord and walks in His ways is blessed. He will eat the labor of his hands, be happy, and prosper. His wife will be like a fruitful vine in the house, and his children like olive plants around his table. The Psalm promises that he will see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of his life, concluding with a blessing: "Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!"
