Psalms 133

Psalms 133

A very short, beloved song celebrating the beauty of unity. The Psalmist exclaims, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Unity is compared to two beautiful things: the precious, sacred anointing oil flowing down the beard of Aaron (symbolizing consecration), and the refreshing dew of Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion. This unity is the place where the Lord commands the blessing of life forevermore, demonstrating the power and goodness of harmony among God's people.
