Psalms 134

Psalms 134

The final Song of Ascent, a brief exchange between the pilgrims and the Temple priests. The Psalmist calls upon all the servants of the Lord who stand by night in the house of the Lord to bless the Lord and lift up their hands in the sanctuary. The priests respond with a powerful benediction upon the pilgrims: "The Lord who made heaven and earth bless you from Zion!" This short hymn serves as a final, beautiful command for perpetual worship and a promise of God's blessing.
