Psalms 147

Psalms 147

A Hallelujah Psalm praising God for rebuilding Jerusalem and sustaining nature. The Psalmist proclaims that it is good to sing praises to God, who builds up Jerusalem and gathers the outcasts of Israel. God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. God determines the number of the stars and calls them all by name. God delights not in the strength of horses or men's legs, but in those who fear Him and hope in His mercy. God sends snow like wool and commands the wind to blow.
