Psalms 148

Psalms 148

A universal Hallelujah Psalm commanding all of creation to praise the Lord. The Psalmist calls upon beings in the highest heavens—angels, sun, moon, and stars—to praise the Lord. Then, the things on earth—sea creatures, fire, hail, mountains, and all trees—are commanded to praise Him. Finally, all people—kings, princes, old men, young men, and children—are commanded to praise God, because His name alone is excellent. God has exalted the horn of His people, making Him the praise of all His saints.
