Psalms 149

Psalms 149

A Hallelujah Psalm commanding the assembly of the saints to sing a new song to the Lord. The children of Zion are commanded to rejoice in their King. They are urged to praise His name with dancing, tambourine, and harp. The Lord takes pleasure in His people and beautifies the humble with salvation. The saints are encouraged to rejoice in glory and be ready to execute the judgment written against the nations—to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron.
