Psalms 150

Psalms 150

The final and shortest Psalm, a climactic Hallelujah Psalm commanding all things to praise God using every type of instrument. The Psalm begins and ends with the command: "Praise the Lord!" The Psalmist commands praise in God's sanctuary and in the firmament of His power. God is to be praised for His mighty acts and according to His excellent greatness. The final command is given to use every instrument: the trumpet, the lute, the harp, the tambourine, the flute, the clash of cymbals, and finally: "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"
