Psalms 19

Psalms 19

This Psalm beautifully links God's revelation in creation with His revelation in Scripture. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork, speaking without words but with powerful, constant testimony throughout the earth. The Psalm then praises the Law of the Lord, describing it as perfect, converting the soul, making wise the simple, and rejoicing the heart. David concludes by praying for moral perfection: "Cleanse me from secret faults... Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer."
