Psalms 25

Psalms 25

A beautiful prayer of dependence and instruction, structured as an acrostic (each verse starts with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet). David lifts his soul to God, asking God not to let his enemies triumph over him. He prays for forgiveness for the sins of his youth and for God to teach him His ways and guide him in His truth. David finds comfort in the assurance that God is good and upright. He prays for deliverance from his distress and concludes by asking God to redeem Israel from all their troubles.
