Psalms 34

Psalms 34

A powerful song of deliverance and witness, written as an acrostic. David promises to bless the Lord at all times and encourages the humble to hear and be glad. David recounts his own testimony: "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." The Psalm teaches fundamental spiritual truths: the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, but His face is against the wicked. David invites all to "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!"
