Psalms 36

Psalms 36

The Psalm contrasts the wickedness of man with the goodness of God. The wicked man has no fear of God and deceives himself into believing his sin will not be found out. God's mercy is described as reaching to the heavens, His faithfulness to the clouds, and His righteousness like the great mountains. God protects man and beast. David affirms that in God's presence is the fountain of life, and in God's light, we see light. David concludes by praying for the continued favor of God on the upright.
