Psalms 37

Psalms 37

A practical and thematic Psalm advising the believer on how to handle the prosperity of the wicked. David commands, "Do not fret because of evildoers." He instructs the faithful to trust in the Lord, dwell in the land, delight themselves in the Lord, and commit their way to Him. Though the wicked flourish temporarily, they will soon be cut down like grass. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. David concludes by affirming that the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord, who is their strength in time of trouble.
