Psalms 48

Mount Zion is beautiful in elevation and the joy of the whole earth. The kings of the earth saw the city and fled in terror, overwhelmed by God's defense. The Psalmist urges the people to walk about Zion and count its towers to tell future generations that "This is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death."
