Psalms 62

Psalms 62

A psalm of quiet confidence and dependence on God alone. David repeats the foundational truth: "My soul waits only upon God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved." David warns the wicked who plot lies that they are as useless as a breath. He commands the people to trust in God at all times and pour out their hearts before Him. David concludes by affirming that power belongs to God, and God repays every man according to his work.
