Psalms 65

Psalms 65

A magnificent hymn of praise for God's power in nature and His provision for His people. The people praise God, knowing that to Him belongs all quiet trust and fulfilled vows in Zion. The psalm celebrates God's power to silence the raging of the seas and the tumult of the people. God is praised for the creation of the earth and His generous provision for the harvest. God visits the earth and waters it, making the furrows abundant and crowning the year with His goodness, causing the pastures and valleys to shout for joy.
