Psalms 86

Psalms 86

A humble, personal prayer for mercy and instruction from David. David confesses his poverty and need, asking God to preserve his soul because he is godly. David declares, "You are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You." David asks God to teach him His way so he can walk in His truth. He promises to praise God with his whole heart. David concludes by asking God to show him a sign for good so that his enemies will see it and be ashamed, knowing God has helped and comforted him.
