Psalms 92

Psalms 92

A song for the Sabbath Day, celebrating the goodness of God and the eventual fate of the wicked. The Psalmist proclaims that it is good to give thanks to the Lord, singing praises to the Most High, declaring God's loving-kindness in the morning and His faithfulness every night. The Psalm notes that though the wicked spring up like grass, they will be destroyed forever. The righteous, however, will flourish like a palm tree and grow strong like a cedar in Lebanon, bearing fruit even in old age.
