Psalms 93

Psalms 93

The first of the Enthronement Psalms, declaring God's eternal rule. The Psalm proclaims, "The Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty. The Lord is clothed with strength." God has established the world so that it cannot be moved. The Lord's throne is established from old, and He is eternal. Though the floods and the mighty waves of the sea roar and lift their voices, the Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters. The Psalmist concludes by affirming that God’s testimonies are sure, and holiness adorns God’s house forever.
