Psalms 94

Psalms 94

A prayer requesting God, the God of Vengeance, to appear and judge the proud and arrogant. The Psalmist laments that the wicked crush God's people, murdering the widow and the stranger, boasting that God does not see or know. The Psalmist challenges them: Does the one who formed the ear not hear? The Psalmist finds comfort in God's Law and promises that God will not cast off His people. The Psalmist concludes with confidence that God will use the wicked's own evil against them, and the Lord our God will cut them off.
