Psalms 96

Psalms 96

A magnificent hymn commanding global worship and the acknowledgment of God's kingship. The people are commanded to sing to the Lord a new song and proclaim His salvation among all the nations. The Psalm declares that all the gods of the nations are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. The people are commanded to ascribe to the Lord glory and honor. The Psalm commands the entire earth to rejoice because "The Lord reigns!" He will judge the people with righteousness and the world with truth.
