Psalms 98

Psalms 98

A joyous hymn of universal praise celebrating God's great salvation. The people are commanded to sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things. The Lord's holy arm and His righteousness have gained the victory, and He has made His salvation known to all the nations. The Psalm calls upon the entire creation—the sea, the rivers, the hills, and the world—to make a joyful noise and clap their hands before the Lord, because He is coming to judge the earth with equity and righteousness.
