Psalms 99

Psalms 99

An enthronement hymn celebrating the holiness of God's reign and His justice. The Psalm proclaims, "The Lord reigns; let the people tremble!" God is great in Zion and is exalted above all the nations. The people praise God for His powerful King, who loves justice. The Psalm commends the examples of Moses, Aaron, and Samuel, who called upon the Lord, and He answered them. The people are commanded to exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy!
