Revelation 10

Revelation 10

A mighty angel descends from heaven, holding a little scroll open in his hand. He cries out with a voice like a lion, and seven thunders utter their voices. John is commanded not to write down what the thunders said. The angel swears by the Creator that there will be no more delay before the final trumpet. John is commanded to take and eat the little scroll, which tastes sweet like honey in his mouth but turns his stomach bitter, symbolizing the mixed experience of prophesying God's final message.
