Revelation 11

Revelation 11

John is given a measuring rod and told to measure the temple and the altar, but to leave out the outer court. Two witnesses, clothed in sackcloth, appear in Jerusalem to prophesy for 1,260 days, performing plagues like Moses and fire like Elijah. The Beast (Antichrist) rises from the Abyss, kills the two witnesses, and the world celebrates. After three and a half days, God resurrects the witnesses. The seventh trumpet sounds, announcing that the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah.
