Revelation 16

Revelation 16

The seven angels are commanded to pour out the seven bowls of God's wrath onto the earth. These plagues bring devastating and universal judgment: malignant sores, the sea turning to blood (killing all sea creatures), the rivers turning to blood, scorching heat from the sun, darkness and pain on the Beast’s throne, and the Euphrates River drying up to prepare the way for the kings of the East. The final bowl triggers a catastrophic earthquake and hail, finishing the wrath of God.
