Revelation 17

Revelation 17

An angel shows John the judgment of the great prostitute, Babylon the Great, who sits on many waters (nations). She is dressed in scarlet and gold, holding a golden cup full of her abominations, and is drunk with the blood of the saints. She rides on the scarlet Beast with seven heads and ten horns (representing the final political empire). The angel explains that the ten horns will eventually turn on the prostitute and destroy her, fulfilling God's plan.
