Revelation 2

Jesus dictates letters to four of the seven churches in Asia. He praises Ephesus for their endurance but warns they have forsaken their first love. He encourages Smyrna to remain faithful through their coming suffering. Jesus commends Pergamum for holding fast to His name but rebukes them for tolerating false teachers (Balaam's teaching). He praises Thyatira for their increasing love and service but condemns them for tolerating the prophetess Jezebel.
