Revelation 5

Revelation 5

John sees a scroll sealed with seven seals in the right hand of God. A powerful angel asks who is worthy to open the scroll, and John weeps because no one is found worthy. Then, the Elder tells John not to weep, because the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David (Jesus), has triumphed and is worthy to open the scroll. Jesus appears as a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, taking the scroll. Heaven erupts in a new song, worshiping the Lamb for His sacrifice.
