Revelation 8

Revelation 8

The seventh seal is opened, followed by a silence in heaven for about half an hour. An angel offers incense and the prayers of the saints on the golden altar. Then, the angel fills the censer with fire and throws it to the earth, followed by thunder and earthquake. Seven angels are given seven trumpets. The first four trumpets bring partial destruction to the earth: hail and fire on the land, a mountain of fire on the sea, a star falling on the rivers, and a third of the sky darkened.
