The fifth trumpet sounds, releasing a star that opens the shaft to the Abyss, unleashing a plague of locusts that look like horses with human faces and scorpion tails. These demonic creatures are commanded to torment anyone who does not have the seal of God on their forehead for five months. The sixth trumpet sounds, releasing four angels who were bound at the Euphrates River, commanding them to kill a third of mankind with a vast army of 200 million riders.
